Jr. Huskies (LTS/LTP)
The Hartland Hockey Club begins with our Jr Huskies Development Program, the Learn To series. Learn To Skate and Learn To Play is the foundation where our successful travel teams are built. The goal of the program is to develop hockey players skills and their hockey IQ at the pace each of them are comfortable with.
Each session our coaches key in on skill development, through station based philosophy, with the main focus on SKATING and FUN! Station based practices allows for productive ice usage and keeps the cost down allowing 35+ kids on the ice.
Our staff and coaches place the players in the program that is best suited for their individual development at the current time. Players are not divided up based solely on their age, our staff identifies the current skill level and mindset of each player and puts them in the best program for them.
As players progress there are opportunities to move from one group to another depending on the size of the class.
